Put a sock on it!

This was snapped as I was leaving the allotment site on another plot.  Last year we had a rat explosion on the site and everyone lost their sweetcorn to them.  The rat numbers are under control (helped by Graham the rat man who now has an allotment too), but it is good to see someone is taking precautions as the squirrels have been spotted getting into the corn.
Meanwhile I spent a happy couple of hours weeding the picking border (and listening to the cricket) and discovered just how many aquilegia plants I have there(see extra).  So I'm potting up some for friends and other allotment holders at the BBQ.
