RINGING FOR THE NEW KING

We are in a strange period of time…when we grieve loss of our dear Queen but welcome our new King.

The autumn church clean had been planned for months so it went ahead with the live screening of King Charles lll proclamation. It was actually nice to be among people. We rang the church bells….it was quite moving..especially for our Ukrainian family who have really stepped into a massage period of our history. They arrived 2 days before the Jubilee celebrations and now….

In the evening J came over and we set up the big screen in the garden and played The Greatest Showman; he’d never seen it…where has he been!!! Hot chocolates and blankets made for a very lovely time.
