REALITY V. INTERNET ILLUSION

The reality won!!!

We were advised (on day 1 of our holiday) to leave the hotel by 7AM!!! They packed us a breakfast (which coincidentally last for lunch and next day cakes!!!). We drove over a dirt track for 40 mins….
#this is a Greek traffic jam!!! Honestly the really wouldn’t move :)))
We were car No5 in the car park and were told it was a 17 min walk to the beach…ok…not too bad…40 mins later after trekking down a rocky path and steps we made it to….Heaven on Earth…just gorgeous. The views down were breathtaking and the colours unbelievable.
#we were on the beach before 8:30 …. It was so peaceful and the water was soooo clear.

The hour+ walk back in the 3pm heat was horrendous (I can’t lie!!) we were so glad when we saw the car. A couple asked for a lift back as they couldn’t get in the car park and still had an hour walk back to their car…it was an obvious YES!!
In the evening we went for a meal in the harbour….to a family fun taverna…all cooked “by μαμά “ (mum)
