Knot Grass

Came across this beautiful caterpillar in the garden this morning. You would think that such a distinctive looking caterpillar would be easy to identify but my knowledge of moth caterpillars is limited and I don't have a guide book. I think its the Knot Grass moth caterpillar but it could also be the very similar, but less intriguingly named, Brown-tail moth caterpillar.
