What remains
Wet cyanotype of some hollyhock leaves decimated by snails. I'm quite pleased with the three-dimensionality that this one has. The colour is probably due to me spraying too much vinegar onto the paper but I quite like it and it will turn blue overnight. The exposure time was almost four hours as its been very cloudy here today. That has led to a slightly soft, almost felt-like, image.
Much to my surprise our 'best and final' bid for the house in the Shropshire Hills AONB has been accepted! We've been at this point twice before of course, nevertheless we are super excited. Hopefully this time it will all come to fruition and we will be heading off to live in the Marches, just a mile from the England/Wales border.
