The Old Olive Press
After breakfast Mrs BB and I set off to walk some ancient pathways we did when last here three years ago as they passed lovely old Olive Trees.
An elderly lady at the Church stopped to 'talk' to us, and with little english it was sign language, but she made out she owned a lot of the land in the area (handed down through marriage). She opened a broken door into a very old building that was long derelict to show us her family Olive press and invited me to take a photograph. The Greek people are so friendly.
Nearby is probably one of the oldest Olive trees on the island judging by the size and the extra shows it.
We then enjoyed cold drinks at Loggos harbour for a good hour, before ending up at Kipiadi Bay to cool off. We're off out again tonight!
