A Tasty Meal

We had a bit of rain last night and tons of gray clouds early in the day. That just provided me with an excuse to get out the jigsaw puzzle. Having so many pieces of similar color pattern is making it quite a challenge. I’ve invited the crew to help me. We watched the birds enjoy the black eyed susan seed heads and millet seeds in the feeders until a hawk frightened them away. My sister gave her door a second coat of oil, trimmed around her shrubbery and did a load of laundry. Our BIL also trimmed around the buildings and did odds and end jobs. Hubby changed the oil in his ATV and helped with the puzzle. My biggest jobs were taking care of Sugar and cleaning up after lunch. We spent time with our Kindles, enjoying a gentle breeze after the sky cleared. We are making shrimp zucchini boats for dinner, a bit time consuming but the recipe sounds yummy. Kim reported that Brooklyn’s team tied their first game 3-3. They were ahead until the last minute. Another day of our peaceful vacation is rushing by. Thanks for stopping by to visit. I am very thankful to have new visitors/stars. We heard that Ukraine may be gaining back some of their lost area. Let’s hope they can maintain control with few casualties. Stay safe all. Today, we remember all of our citizens who perished on 9/11. "Sometimes goldfinches one by one will drop From low hung branches; little space they stop; But sip, and Twitter, and their feathers sleek; Then off at once, as in a wanton freak: Or perhaps, to show their black, and golden wings Pausing upon their yellow flutterings." - Unknown
