Quiet Sunday

Popped over to see AJ this morning.
She was on good form. Able to relay to me tge events from Friday when the wheelchair company visited - still need some tweaks to her chair so they will be back again.
We talked about The Queen, and her recall of when King George passed.
Our grandparents were one of the few houses that had a television, to watch the coronation..
AJ can remember going to see King George when he lay in state (she was only around 21 and completing her nursing in London).
A lovely visit.

On the way there, I had dropped into the newsagents and picked up the tabloids for today (I have the newspapers from Diana’s and Queen Mothers passing).
