Upper Clutha River Track

This is our lunch spot.  

To start the day we had a Moment of Silence as we remembered The Queen, and what an amazing woman she was.  

Then 12 of us set out on the beautiful walk along the river.  However before too long we came across a slip, (extra 1), which covered all of the track.  So we turned around had our lunch, then headed back to the cars.  The second extra is 'nearly back at the cars'.  We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe before heading for home.  Nice and warm, +16C.  A lovely day in the sun.
