New power

This is the ducting for new power supplies for the several hundreds of flats being built next to the Union Canal on either side of Gilmore Park. 

Fetched chocolate brownies and a newspaper first thing. Crowd barriers in place on Lothian Road, and a motorcycle escorted coach bringing people in for the Proclamations announcing the Accession of the King.

 Out later in the afternoon to visit the  Canal Society cake stall, then on to Craiglockart Nature reserve. Found a new (to us) but well used path, looped back  to help a little with clear up from the stall, and back along the canal. 

Rain came on as we were walking back, and there were several hours of steady rain in the evening.
