The Long View

Stared at a computer screen until my eyes hurt. Walked to the river to give them a good stretch before my eye test tomorrow.

There's more to be said about the need for the long view as the short one is still causing general stress and anxiety. But not for now as I am in most need of sleep. And we are entering the end of the insanity, only two more sleeps until Carl is back and it is a long weekend with many fine plans ahead.

And there's a summer waiting for us out there somewhere on the long view too...
