Vicarious energy

The kids have a created a Temple Run game in the garden inspired by an iPad game, which amuses me no end for some reason. Maybe because it reminds me a little of when me and my brothers recreated the Adventure Game including a vortex from the back of different coloured hardbacked Penguin books. Doogy rev.

I spent most of the day continuing the theme of non-stop working. Apart from the part when I went to the opticians who informed me the impact of all this close computer work and reading on my vision. In a couple of weeks I shall be the 'proud' owner of a pair of old lady glasses (aka multifocals). I'm also under strict instructions to spend part of the day glasses-free which is hard as without them I feel quite nauseous but apparently I need to get over that...I'm showing willing and not wearing them now but really it's just making me want to stop typing.

Which I mainly shall as the next stage of operation wind-down comes in the form of a hot bubble bath.
