Get Ready...

Well, I just couldn’t help myself. I mean, everyone else was going to gawp, so why wouldn’t I? So, MrB’s tyres well inflated, I cycled myself up to Dean Bridge where I reckoned I’d get a reasonable view of the cortege coming into Edinburgh. The Beeb had got there first. 
As the cars approached, the woman from the BBC behind me paused her commentary she said,  to allow people to pay their respects; the cars swept past in silence. And as the last passed, applause broke out along the length of the route. An unusual communion, but I was glad I went and joined in. 
Later, we started Five Days at Memorial on Apple TV. Rather addictive and despite some over-obvious signposting, really rather good. We’ll have it devoured in no time.
