I think Jean Shrimpton could have learned a thing or two from the Current Mrs Creel.  Like, what it is to be married to such a devoted and caring man.  Like how you can still lighten up even if your man is feckless, drink sodden, lazy and in his sleep is constantly calling for Blanche. 
Scottish Country dancing emerged once more this morning in Kirkwall Town Hall; the usual terpsichoreans were there to appreciate it.
Went in past to see Dougal in the hospital in Kirkwall.  He asked me to speak only four words at a time.  The speech part of his brain is badly swollen and he is having real problems articulating and following.  He is being kept under observation and will be fired down the line to Aberdeen in a week’s time for brain scans.  I know one thing – he really appreciated the visit.
