Homeward

Arguably, I took the wrong way out of Grassington, except that I never like going back the way I came, so for me the road north through Conistone was the right one, passing through Arncliffe where I turned back south towards Settle.

There was no phone signal up there, on the single track road, which added a modern twist to the sense of isolation. This valley was more striking than my photo suggests.
