Compost heap

I hadn't turned my compost since May (frog numbers are so high in the summer that I'm always worried I might hurt one) but I thought the compost heap looked quieter recently and turned it to let some air in. 

I couldn't believe how warm it was in the middle of the heap, and the compost is so beautiful. Green waste must have broken down more quickly with the hot weather.
