D has just started a week's leave so was going to celebrate by doing the washing up, but realised that two of his fingers were temporarily strapped together due to the result of a rope-wrangling mishap. Then he discovered that he could still wear my Marigolds!

Went up to the West End to meet Shandonner and fellow tutor K for a coffee and to make plans for upcoming tutorial season. Then a yoga session with Polly.

Later I was contacted by a panicked student (they were sitting their online exam today) whose flat had flooded halfway through his time allocation. Told him to submit what he'd done and where to find the special circumstances form - but poor soul, what a thing to happen.
