Overload

The first delivery of materials for the wall arrived this morning and it was very exciting watching it being unloaded on to the front garden a pallet at a time. Then we realised it was only half the order and the rest will be delivered on Friday. No idea where we are going to put it all, as the garden is crammed with stuff already!! Fortunately, it's all laid to gravel, so very few plants have been harmed in the building of this wall:-)

We paid a visit to Branklyn Gardens in Perth this afternoon, a National Trust for Scotland garden which is at its best at this time of year with a truly magnificent display of rhododendrons and azaleas. My camera was working overtime and it was so difficult to choose a blip for today. I ran out of time to do a collage, so this is just one example from dozens. The flowers were so beautiful in the sunshine and we even bought some plants to add to our own garden. I'll go back again in a week or so to see what's new:-)
