Happy hump day!

Ha, we're over the hump and down the other side woo hoo. A bit of a crazy week so far. I've just got a text from my boss who's only just finished work and it's 10.30pm - it's why they pay her the big bucks...

Me, I've spent the evening in the company of a good friend. I can't exactly remember how we became friends, but I'm very glad we are. Chances are she made the first move, because unfortunately first moves aren't in my nature! And she's bubbly and outgoing :-)

Anyway, however it was, we had a lovely evening gossiping over home-made soup, tea and cloudy lemonade (sugar free of course, got to watch those ProPoints!). I've gone the extra mile on something to help her, so she bought me a yummy bottle of fizzy and this beautiful necklace - which went perfectly with today's outfit ;-) It really wasn't necessary, but she's thoughtful like that, and it's nice to be appreciated.

I am quite a cheap date though really - if you're just nice to me, I'll go to the ends of the earth for you.
