St Ives

Caught up with a few household chores this morning. Tried listening to the radio but everything is about a recent event.  Really wringing the topic out.

Ordered a Nikon battery for my camera.  Prices really vary from £104 to £13.99 on ebay.  Ordered one from Jessops at mid price of £49.99. 

Trip to St Ives after lunch. For 27 years this was OH's regular journey to work.  It's a charming town.  The pace was definitely calmer than Cambridge and very welcome.  I bought a bucket from the excellent hardware store - last of the big spenders! ;-))   And we had coffee and cake at the excellent Tom's cafe. 

The light was beautifully mellow today.  Also the temperature is definitely feeling autumnal.
