In the Book of your heart

On route home we travelled south a little to reach Alnwick.

Specifically barter books! Yes! We took a box of 22 books with us on holiday! They accepted them all and we got enough money to buy another 7 books and leave a balance for next year.

After we left we headed on up the a1 and did what we always do and took the wrong turn at Edinburgh - we miss the circular every time.

Last time we ended up in Fort Kinnaird (and i suffered Post traumatic stress - last time I had been there with Withers and Leeanne and Po. It was angst ridden)

This time we ended up in Leith! Great fun! Tram works / road works. It took us an hour to get through leith .

Another hour on and we we stuck for an hour 7 miles from the house more road works

Eventually we were home! Exhausted!

Boy will we sleep well
