Home sweet home

Woke feeling surprisingly well refreshed after last night’s shenanigans. Linda made us bacon and poached eggs with toast for a very welcome breakfast and we passed a lovely morning remembering other events from our shared past. It was difficult to leave as every time we get together just reminds us of how much fun we have together. hopefully it won’t be too long until we can get together again.

The journey down to Edinburgh was pretty uneventful. I even managed to call into Dundee for a catch up with my son and to drop off the wedding gift Linda had bought for him and his fiancé.

Finally arrived home just before 5 and Phin was so happy to see me that he never left my side all evening.
