Northern Ireland: Belfast/ Dublin.

Today the King & his Consort went to Northern Ireland . A condolence party in Dublin greeted them before a service of reflection at St Anne's Cathedral , where all denominations were recognised. Belfast had a lovely display to recognise the occasion too.
Afterwards it was a speedy journey to get a flight back to London to await the late Queen's coffin .
After the flight from Edinburgh the coffin arrived at RAF Bries Norton . The coffin was again brilliantly removed from the plane to the Hearse awaited by The Princess Royal her husband Tim Lawrence the Prime Minister Liz Truss & clergy & other dignitaries. Then the smooth journey to Buckingham Palace where it will remain until the Lying in State at Westminster Hall before the funeral on Monday.
I put the bouquet of flowers up that my granddaughter gave me last week & of course Daisy my charge for the next 2 weeks.
