Last journey to Westminster Hall.

Here the Queen's coffin will lay in State for 4 days. This will allow the public to file passed & pay their respects.Alas, mine had to be via the TV!!
All was gradually assembled from 1.30 pm , with all the Armed Forces being represented , by 2.30 pm all was ready for the Queen to leave Buckingham Palace for the last time,now on her journey to Westminster Hall, the parade was magnificent . What a way for all concerned to walk. ( Hats off to them all , including all. who followed) .
Monday will be the sad final farewell.
For me , today was sad on 2 counts.
1) My late husband would have been 87years old. Happy Birthday darling have a wonderful Heavenly Party.
2) The Queen leaving Buckingham Palace for the last time made everything seem so very very final.
