Today's the day ............................ to wend

After all the excitement of the weekend, it was time to wend our way back home.

We had the company of son Tim and Melanie in the car as far as Moffat, where they had left their car on the way up.  It was another sunny day and the drive was easy.  Moffat was getting ready for its Golden Eagle Festival taking place next weekend.  These life-sized carved birds are to be found on a wooden bench in the middle of the town.

It's an annual event and will be enjoyable, I'm sure ...................
