Home, sweet home

Home to green grass! How amazing nature is, when we left a week ago the grass was brown and looked dead, but after a week of rain it springs back into life. I wandered round the garden first thing and the dahlias are amazing and there are still tomatoes growing. We didn’t rush too much today, just finished washing and unpacking. I had a schools volunteering session and chatted to one student (the other off sick). Home to unpack Tesco delivery and make some cakes. I also made cookies for the first time which turned out ok? OH went to see his team play (1:1) and No.2 was pleased that he took cake and cookies to eat at half time.

Normal day and getting back into the swing again.
