A Golfing Day

But what a fun day! We had a "Horse Race" with 42 women on 13 teams. It's a fun and time consuming (and embarrassing) way to have a great time with the game. Basically, the teams have been comprised of A, B and C level players (in this case) based on handicaps. The teams are evenly matched. All the "A" players tee off, followed by the "B" players 2nd shot and so on. Teams with high scores are eliminated and eventually, after 5 wildly challenging and creative holes (our assistant pro had a blast with this game today), 7 teams were left and we had to have 2 separate chipping contests to determine the five winning teams. Yours truly and her team were in 5th place...at least we placed! You'll see the group in the extra. Bonus points if you can find me ;-)

Really busy afternoon when I got home - botanical garden work won't leave me alone! So a quick trip to the garden with my iPhone. I LOVE the fascinating insides of Zinnias...aren't they cool?
