Fading

Not me, the Anemone. Actually the garden is looking pretty chipper, despite the fact that the weeds are out of control do to my long absence this summer. But fall is in the air! It was cool and murky today, perhaps just a bit of sun this afternoon.

A long day of working on botanical garden stuff. We (the Board President and I) have a presentation to The Portland Garden Club tomorrow - a very old and prestigious garden club that is a member of the American Garden Club. A perfect audience! So I've been reworking our standard presentation to include more photos and rewritten narrative (not me, I don't write the narrative...and normally don't recite it either!)
