They're in!!

Son's family got the key of the door at last.

After weeks of uncertainty, procrastination and maladministration the house they had set their hearts on is finally theirs.  Not all their stuff is in although the white goods and other essentials were transported by a local man&woman with a van (extra) in contrast to the highly professional team that moved them to us  on 1st of July). 

The new house is spacious and has lots of possibilities but the decor is very dated. (Those bricks...!)   It will need a lot of input to turn it into a suitable home for the four of them to live, work and grow. The village is a thriving, rather than a dying,  community with many useful assets including a flour mill, a weekly market and a huge beach a mile down the road.
Best of all it's only 30 minutes from us so we'll be able to provide support and input in all sorts of ways - one being a fish&chip supper for Meal One.
