Broke a hard rule, no telly during the day, to watch the Queen being taken up the High Street to St. Giles' Cathedral.   I set my laptop up in front of the TV but didn't do much work for the 35 minutes or so that it took to reach the church.  Very poignant. 

In the evening, I logged on to a RRDPS* critique evening to see what they had to say about members' proposed submissions to the NEMPF competition.    Based on the comments received, I'm not going to be submitting anything anytime soon.
