La Pedrera (Casa Milà)
Despite some continuing jet-lag, we managed to do some sight-seeing in Barcelona today. This morning we toured la Pedrera, the last residential project that Gaudì designed before turning his focus to Sagrada Familia. This photo shows J on the roof-top terrace of la Pedrera, with Sagrada Familia visible in the distance. It was a beautiful apartment building and I love everything Gaudì designs, but if I had to choose I think preferred Casa Battlò, that we visited in 2012. We had tapas & salads for lunch, got our ducks in a row for our train travel tomorrow, and did a whole lot of walking. We ended the day a little early and headed back to the hotel, but both ended up working after that. I'm hoping for a better sleep tonight and think we may need some luck managing all our luggage on the train tomorrow...
