The queue

I had a long-standing commitment to have lunch in The Swan today (next door to the Globe Theatre on London's South Bank).  This shot is from the second floor dining room across the River Thames to the City skyscrapers in the background.  "The Queue" was straight in front of the window and stretched a couple of miles in both directions along the river this morning. It seemed well organised.  Everyone in the queue had purple wrist bands, and the queue was moving in bursts, a group of people at a time, with 2 marshals in front and 2 marshals behind.  Three policemen and some information officers were waiting to help. It was all subdued and well mannered.
