Wound up in Wexford

A walk in the woods

After a few pretty hectic and stressful days, we haven't been out much today.

A good start to the day - the auctioneer (aka Estate Agent) for the property we hope to buy rang.  Clearly he and the vendor have realised that they were in danger of losing the sale, and apparently have now arranged with the farmer to move the boundary back to the pink line.  It'll just take a while for the paperwork "formalities" to be sorted.  So that's great.  No further reservations on our part.  We haven't "fallen in love" with this house the way we had with the first house we found, but we are happy with the size, the rooms, and the layout.

W has sorted out the computers, so we can (though tonight I haven't) use them to blip/browse etc etc.  They are not ideally situated on fold down tables, so I have sourced a second hand computer desk that we can fetch in a couple of days.  We're also looking for a sturdy table for my sewing machine - not found quite the right one yet, but it's in hand.

I went for a wander down the village, and found a rather delightful walk through woodland.  And booked an appointment for a hair cut on Monday.

Tomorrow a trip to Limerick to pick up the stuff we left in storage back in July.
