What a lovely day! I made it down to Carlops at lunchtime to see Marianne Hazelwood, a botanical artist who has recently moved to the village.

Her house and studio are fabulous - her houseplant collection is very enviable. We made some plans for a potential collaboration next year too.

Other than that (and making soap sponges) I mainly spent an insane amount of money on materials ready for the Christmas Market before they all sell out. Always very scary but needs must, if I leave it too late, I may not get exactly what I need/want and we're not far off prime Christmas shopping season now.
