I did some studying this morning, then did some housework.
Early afternoon I went to pick up Mary , who had volunteered with the Cats Protection for 15 years.
Cassie our cat , was born on a farm and was taken in by the Cars Protection ( Mary ) for rehoming . Because Cassie was a black cat , she was not chosen . Superstition I think. That was until we came along . I fell in love with Cassie at first sight.

Cassie turned 16 a few days ago and it was lovely for Mary to see her looking so well. Cassie got a card and some cat treats , while Mary brought me some home made jams and biscuits.
After a couple of hours I took Mary home and I went to see my Mum. We went for a walk around the garden and then back to her room.

I then popped round to the allotment for some fresh veg for supper .
The wildflower beds are still giving the bees, insects and myself a lot of pleasure.
It’s fun scattering wildflower seeds in the Spring and waiting to see what actually grows.
Nature is wonderful
