Porth Kidney Beach

I had a lovely play on Porth Kidney Beach this morning. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. And I played and played and played with my orange bouncy ball. I played sooooo much that I went straight out onto the sun terrace for a snooze when I got home. ….............And Ann went straight to bed!!!

She's still doing all her 'normal stuff' but she can't believe how tired she is. No she hasn't got COVID. She just doesn't have any energy, but she's had a 'cold' for two weeks??!!   Her intention was to join the St Ives Leisure Centre for a month and swim half a mile every day and do a fitness class every day, but walking me uses up all her energy.

After her 'snooze' she went to meet her friends for a couple of glasses of wine at 'Friday Afternoon Club'. And then, when she got home, she had to have another snooze?!! And after I'd had a play in the field we sat chillaxing on the sun terrace until about 6pm when it went a bit cold.

I've already gobbled up all my dinner and am back in my bed snoozing.

And Ann bought a 'Pork casserole kit' from Aldi the other day so she's cooking that. Apparently you just throw everything into a casserole dish, add 100ml of water and stick it in the oven for 2hrs 15mins??? She's not convinced, but heyho, hopefully it will be ready for her to eat whilst watching Corrie & EastEnders tonight??!!

….............And that's been our day. Hopefully my human will have more energy tomorrow?!!

PS - My human really wishes that she had stayed in Edinburgh for an extra couple of days and gone to St Giles to pay her respects to the Queen.  Apparently the 'queue' in London has been closed for the next few hours and those already there are being told there is a 22 hour wait.

Tomorrow we are going to go to St Ives Library to sign the 'Book of Condolence'.  My human has never done this before but she feels that it is the right thing to do.
