A bit chilly this morning starting the day at 6°C.

Some chores then made first big pot of leek, carrot & lentil soup & taste test at lunch time. Did sit out for lunch but needed a fleece waistcoat as sunny clouds passing.

Filled up the bird feeders as they are beginning to return & the weather is definitely autumnal. Reports of a dusting of snow on the hills up north & some ground frost elsewhere.
