Mix'n'Match

Spent some time in the garden this morning. Dug out the next hole down the steps. A deeper hole dug inside hole for a pot bound plant which hope will settle there. Cut off any of the damaged twigs.

Replanted some bulbs I had round it & the edges.

Lifted 2 bags of potatoes, not many but enough for a few days. Used the soil from the potatoes bags to back fill round plant & over bulbs.

Lunch outside but needed a jumper.

After lunch cut back some of the parsley seedheads to collect seeds, only a few ready yet.

If you like your spiders & beasties then leave the parsley to flower then go to seed as I saw plenty beasties & a few spiders. And the bees & hoverflies like the flowers. Don't know what eats the parsley seeds but sprinkled a few over the overgrown bit. If they grow, they grow, if they get munched then plenty seed still to be collected.
