No, this is not a monster waiting for something to eat, a mouth opened and a tongue and teeth visible. It is a fungus, a dog lichen. Today it was a dry day, although they forecast some rain. So I got out and with the camera having only one goal, photographing. I have first had macros of this lichen species two years ago. Never before hadn't even detected them as existing with bare eyes.
