Gold crest

A morning at Harlow Carr, where in a quiet off path area - near where we’ve seen them before, were a pair of goldcrest, in my experience a beautiful, wonderful to see, but elusive little bird and one I’d never seen until a couple of years ago. Another in extras.
Lots of birds to be seen from the hide too and a fleeting glimpse of a stoat here - one that got away.
First round of the club mixed doubles tennis tournament this afternoon - we won! Our run may not last long - but we made it to the quarter finals!
