Pizza

It was a beautiful day, not a cloud. We met Lynne, Ann Ken and Sue up on Arnside Knott to look for fungi, and visit the rare Teesdale Violet site. This is being invaded by nasty vigorous grasses which will smother the little flowers. We think it should be eradicated, but this is not so easy - it’s very tough, and also it’s a protected site so random digging is not allowed! Hopefully permission will be given before it’s too late.
I made a batch of bramble jelly, delicious! And a pizza for supper!
