Woodland fungi

I have no idea what they are, I have a book but it's not much help as I need to know more of the basics before I can understand some of it!
I was leading at church this morning, with a visiting preacher who gave a message with much for thought.
After some sewing we went to the woods for short runs (note runs, we rarely run together as Mr Rat is much quicker than me) and I noticed these fungi. 
I exacerbated an old knee issue when we were in the Cairngorms so I'm being cautious with distance and speed as it slowly improves.
