The first full day of our holiday. We went to Amble and walked out along the pier - the sea was rough and it was occasionally trying to rain. After walking along the harbourside we came back through the town. We drove to Hauxley Nature Reserve after lunch and then on to Druridge Bay. We met up with one of my colleagues and had a walk around the lake together. We've worked together for nearly a year, but she'd never met any of the rest of the team in person until now! However, it didn't feel that odd because we've seen each other on Teams calls almost every week since she joined us. After saying goodbye we went onto the beach at various points down the bay before finally deciding to head back at about 6pm.
