Another lovely day.
Air temperature a little cooler but still strong sunshine which warmed the day up by the time I was out walking Ginny. Lots going on along the seafront with most of it closed off for a 10k run and a Classic Car Show. Change of plan due to diversions and ended up at East Beach where we committed an offence....dog and I walked along the beach! Dogs still banned until 30th Sept. but as there was not a soul about we broke the rule. Ginny loved it! - chance to reacquaint herself with all the different smells and lots of seaweed to tear apart - tide was out so no chance to paddle. Extra - she decided to stretch out her back legs and enjoy the feel of warm sand on her tummy!
Continued on to where Stevvi spotted blackberries. They may have looked nice in his photo but that are mostly "over" by now and quite small. Not sure I made it to the exact location but stopped where the path led through a field with a herd of cows. As I parked and got out to give Ginny a drink of water when the car door opened and she inhaled she immediately bristled with excitement, ignored the offer of a drink and couldn't wait to get out and explore - the sweet smell of rabbits was in the air - even I could detect it. She was mad keen to get out after them but had to stay safely on her long lead due to the herd of cows and the low stretch of barbed wire along the edge of the path - she would have bounded through it with bad results. A good morning's walks and a bowl of blackberries for the freezer.
