Down at the Marina

A cold breeze again, but mostly sunny all day.  There was a few showers in the afternoon.  A lovely clear and flat calm evening.

Up early for a Sunday, and headed to the peat hill after breakfast.  All peats bagged and out of the hill now.  Popped along Pamela and Magnie (Ratter) for a cuppa.  Headed into town for lunch, then another cuppa with Madeline.  Some work with the boat, then walkies with Sammy.  A fairly quiet evening working in the shop, but a steady evening.  Feet up now.

A day for getting chores done before winter sets in.  Glad we've got the peats home, and then down to the marina.  A tidy up around the boat, and got the small rubber boat home for the winter.  Soon it will be time to get the winter cover on, with maybe the odd winter day we can get out for a run off.  The Golden West sitting in her berth, Port Arthur, Scalloway.
