Drying the beans
We decided to pull a couple rows of the bean plants and hang them to dry. These will be for our rabbits in the winter as treats. The beans if planted early enough would have produced shell beans, Great Northerns, to dry. As it is there are quite a number of immature beans that were perfectly acceptable to pick and eat as just a green bean. This shed is the old sauna that I hope one day we will revert to being a sauna once again. Right now, though, it holds bags of wood shavings that Dan has picked up from a furniture shop. We use it for the chicken coop. And now beans for drying.
