Lighthouse

The lighthouse at Tacking Point (extra) was built in 1879, the thirteenth lighthouse to be built in Australia. It’s only 8 metres high: presumably the elevated position made greater height unnecessary.

The wind at Lighthouse Beach was ferocious and we had to cling to the railings on the path up to the dumpy little lighthouse.
