Bath
Up early this morning to catch a train to Bath where we were met by B my sister in law, I haven't been to Bath for a very long time.
It was decided the best way to go was by a tour double decker, brilliant, ear phones in and away we went.
The first trip took us way up on the skyline circuiting the city, we then walked for a while snapping at this and that.
The Poultney Bridge was an awesome sight with its arches and weir, apparently if you lived on the bridge it was a way of avoiding Land Taxes! We had lunch sitting in the sun by the weir.
The Circus was a circular crescent.
None of the buildings in Bath can be altered in or out unless a special consent is given.
Jane Austen lived in Bath and there is a Jane Austen Centre which we walked past.
The Bath Abbey is massive and an awesome sight, buskers were playing in different areas with lots of people listening to the music.
Two police rode down the street and I was amused when they stopped at the lights, it gave me a minute to get a shot!
Bath is famous for its Roman Baths of mineral water.
I loved the English window display, with a Lambretta and lots of Union Jack products.
Another great day of adventure. Beautiful day, but hush not speaking to loud about that, just in case!!.
