Bristol
Wow what a day with one big surprise for us!!
After breakfast we headed off in the car to Brunels Suspension Bridge a famous landmark in Bristol spanning high up over the river Avon.
We visited Blaise Castle Museum, where they have an interesting collection of old toys and house hold goods including some amazing painted old loos! The rocking horse was under the stairs and designed as a side saddle mount, which I had not seen before.
Then onto Blaise Hamlet a pretty selection of cottages built for the workers of the Blaise estate, they are all different and have a lot of character.
We then went home for lunch Pam and I were wilting a bit, I suggested a nana nap but we were told only for 5mins and then we were off out again!
Some very old buildings and a statue are just across the road with a view of a very modern one made of glass in the distance.
All of a sudden we were outside the Theatre "The Mouse Trap" was playing and Belinda proudly produced three tickets. OMG it's a play I have always wanted to see but thought I probably would never see its now in its 60th year.
It was brilliant but I can't say anymore as its a secret!!
We walked down Nelson street admiring the huge graffitied walls, superb stuff and found some girls having fun posing and doing photography.
Tonight we enjoyed a meal at Za Za a huge restaurant, where you wander around cook stations and help yourself to a variety of foods.
