River Aire

Left home late afternoon to travel to Leeds. It was such a glorious day I decided to go cross country and hoped for some good blips. I find driving like that really therapeutic, the light on the hills was stunning but as usual nowhere to stop where you wanted to.

I pulled in at the same place I did on 25th September 2012 when we had all the floods. What a difference. Now you can see where the river should have been! Not the best of pictures, I was too conscious of my dinner being cooked for me by mum!

Looking forward to the next two days!
